3/17/10 5:30 AM We have been notified that our Level 2 carrier has an issue in the Western U.S. that is affecting dialup connectivity in the Eastern Washington area. Technicians are at work and the busy signals should be resolved before noon today. Thank you very much for your patience. We are working to re-establish dial-up in Eastern Washington as quickley as possible. 10/27/05 5:30 AM eMail Software installation is in the testing phase and we expect to begin eMail Service by this afternoon. If you are still experiencing eMail problems afternoon today please call 509-545-9706 and we will work with you to resolve any issues. It looks like corruption was complete and I do not forcee any mail being saved at this point. Our primary goal is to establish eMail service and then see what old mail if any we can recover. Since Seattle Labs has revised their software to be compatible with Microsofts changes we will be doing additional updates over the weekend. If you experience any problems with your mail, please contact tech support so we can communicate the problem to the engineers. It will help us immensly. 10/26/05 5:30 AM Working with Seattle Labs and Microsoft we have determined that the corruption and distruction of our drives was the result of Microsoft Automatic Updates installed on 10/25/05. Seattle Labs has determined that an incompatibility exists between their eMail Software (Our Server Software) and Microsoft's new Security patches. We are working to restore eMail service as quickly as possible. It looks like corruption is complete and I do not forcee any mail being saved at this point. Our primary goal is to establish eMail service and then see what old mail if any we can recover. Because of the excessive amount of traffic to our eMail server we removed it from the net this morning. The amount of traffic was interfering with Microsofts' and Seattle Labs' ability to troubleshoot and repair the systems. 3/28/05 5:30 AM Full eMail Service was completly restored at 5:30AM this morning. Due to file corruption you may experience about a 1/2 day of "additional Spam" emails while the filters rebuild and refresh. Franklin PUD had an outage in North Pasco, Wa. yesterday from about 00:02AM until 5:00AM affecting Webbworks servers. 3/27/05 5:00 AM Franklin PUD had an outage in North Pasco, Wa. today from about 00:02AM until 5:00AM affecting Webbworks servers. Once power was restored our Mail server had been damaged and repairs were begun. We had no reported interuption in Internet Service and expect to have our Mail system responding before 6AM Monday morning. 9/01/04 9:00 AM Microsoft has been in the process of deploying updates and security patches to prevent several rather nasty worms and viruses as well as the new "Hijacker" programs staring to proliferate on the net. This is causing many users problems, especially if they do NOT perform upgrades. Many customers have had their DNS numbers and access numbers randomly changed or erased. Please be sure and check the website for correct configuration parameters. Print them out and keep them close to your system for reference. Also please make sure that your system is protected by doing your Microsoft Updates on a regular basis. They are free and easy..... Windows Update. 9/01/04 9:00 AM Our Mailing Address has Changed. Our new mailing address is: Webbworks, P.O. Box 4815, Pasco, WA. 99302. Our new email reminders have been updated and so have the reference webpages. This change was made for convienence and since Pasco is the Main Post Office for the TriCities this should speed the process. 4/05/04 9:50 AM New dialup nunbers are in effect in the Tricities. As you may or may not know, Webbworks' Tricity dialup lines and equipment were located in Computer Rennasainse on Columbia Center Blvd. Computer Renassainse has closed it's doors so we are moving our equipment to Computer Services International (CSI) @ 3013 West Kenneext to Check-N-Go. We are switching everyone who has not already switched to our National Dialup Network. Thank you very much for your patience. This closure caught us by suprise too. 2/05/04 9:50 AM The dialup number in the Tri-Cities and throughout the United States are changing. We have added over 9,700 access numbers and upgraded the access numbers in the Tricities to V.92. We are offering a High Speed connection to the Internet for our dialup customers also. Please see the website @ www.webbworks.com for additional details.
